Default Foreman Engine Rebuild Complete

Well its finally done and the results are very pleasing. Before I start let me say that I did not want to have the biggest baddest foreman but a Foreman the way that I thought It should come from the factory.'

Well I started by buying a wiseco piston and have a custom sleeve made at Northwest Sleeve Co. The sleeve is not nessasary but I did it to retain stock wall thickness of the sleeve after it was bored out.

So the stock engine looks like this: 433cc @ 8.5:1 comp. ratio .

My New and improved model looks like this 447cc @ 9.5: 1 comp. ratio. with the rad remounted between the head lights behind the grill for better cooling and a custom aluminum shroud was made to house the two 400 cfm turbo fans that now are hooked up to the termostat which the stock fan was tied to. The new cooling unit just barely fit under the front hood and a heat shield was added to protect the electronic modules. The stock fan now has a manual over ride switch to allow for continous cooling of the cylinder while the oil is kept at optimum temp. An EPI clutch kit was added to further the bikes ability to get up and go with a load on.

The results are that this is the way it should have come from the factory. Starting and throttle response seem to be better then before and the extra power is very noticable. My brother in law has the same machine, Foreman 450 S, so we will do more testing and comparing to see what is what.

Comments and Questions are welcome.
