1986 Fourtrax electric starter removal - HELP!!

1986 Fourtrax electric starter removal - HELP!!
I have unbolted the 2 bolts on my starter and unbolted the electrical cable. Yet, there is no "play" to remove the starter, no room to wiggle it out. Does anyone out there know the secret to removing the starter? Thanks in advance, Jeff
