How will increasing the tire size effect speedometer accuracy and overall machine performance? I.E. Faster off the line/Slower top end.

I could care less about the top speed of my quad. Just the affects. Whatever info will help.

Thanks

A larger tire could make you quad a little faster if it has enough power to turn the wheels without topend loss. It will throw off the accuracy of the speedometer.

If you put bigger tires on the rear you will have a loss in the low end... thats why you see all these MX racers with small tires, that helps the low end and holeshot...

How will this effect speedometer accuracy? will it read slow or fast and by how much?

I just picked up my new Rubicon last night and was thinking about putting on a big foot tire and wheel combo.
