Default 450R Key Switch

Has anyone found a good place to relocate the switch and temperature light? I am getting ready to put my Tag bars on, and still looking for a good functional place to put them. Right now I do not want to put a kill a kill switch on, so I am hoping to stay with the key for now. Plus the Temp light is always a good thing to have. Thanks.

Default 450R Key Switch

i put a maier tetherkill switch, and renthal bars on my 450r. i zip-tied the temp light to the bars where i can see it if it lights up, and with the key switch i did some creative cutting of the stock bar cover (black thing that the light and switch were already mounted to). the hole the the breather tube used to go down got cut flat, and i put the left rear handlebar mounting bolt through a wahser, and then through the hole and everything tightened up fine. the key switch went into the stock hole, and i cut all the excess plastic off, and cleaned it up. it works good, the only problem is that the breather tube runs right over it, and the key ends up in a kind of an awkward position if u use the key to kill the engine. since u dont' have a battery to run down, i just leave the key on and kill the engine with the stock kill switch. eventually i want to get a billet aluminum version of my mounting thing made, since its out of the way, and looks kinda kool. tues. i'll put a pic of my set-up on the site in case what i said made no sense. also, cuttin the plastic with a dremmel was the best way that i found. if u kept ur fenders on u might try mounting it there, i took mine off. good luck!
