Default Setting the Toe On Rincon

The wheels on my rincon are toe'ed out too far. One measures 12/16" and the other 10/16". The service manual calls for 7/16" of toe out. The manual gives the procedure for setting it but before I start, doe's anyone know which direction to turn the tie rods to toe them back in? Clockwise? Counter Clockwise? The manual only says to adjust the tie rods, not which way to turn them. It also says to make sure the ball joints rest against the stops before tightening the hold down nuts????? HUH ? Has anyone ever adjusted the toe on one of these?
