stock air filter

can u put too muc oil on those stock air filters when cleaning them?
i have the foam type

Don't put so much on that the oil drips off of it.
I use the spray on oil. It covers real well and isn't as messy.

its is dripping a small amount into the airbox is it ok?

Use rubber gloves for oiling the filter and squeeze out excess oil.
