HELP! How do I mount my new Superwinch T1500 on my Rancher. Should I just break down and order a mounting kit (who is cheap and what should I get) or should I make something (Flat plate connecting crossmembers then bolt the winch to that). Also anything special I should do for wiring? What about fairleads, who is the best on them. THANKS!

 

I got a plate from www.atvpartsdepot.com and the Warn roller fairlead.

 

use a plate with u-bolts and you don't need a fairlead.

 

Exactly what texmud said. I have the same set up it works great. On the install just wrap all wires with a weatherproof tape. Also before you install the rocker switch call SUPERWINCH and ask for the orange dustcover. They'll send it free! You can also call them and tell them you're having trouble with the rocker and they'll send you a spare.
