In my Clymer manual states the frame serial numbers are on the left side of the frame behind the engine. I have an 89 250r and it is not their. The picture in the manual shows an 86-87.I have just bought an 89 and I want to register it. Thanks for the help.

take the front plastic off and look between the upper shock mounts

by the way go get a genuine honda service manual (it's much more detailed)
