This is more than pathetic, sure there are stupid cops, but 99.9% of the time you have to give them a reason to pull you over in the first place. Whenever I do talk to the cops, I usually get a reasonable amount of cooperation out of them, because I make sure I'm within the rules. And If you think running helps you keep your quad, it will for a while, but eventually you'll get caught. Every punk thinks they're so smart as to avoid the cops, but all the ones I've ever known has been caught at one time or another. But I'm sure YOU are much smarter than they were, aren't you? Do us all a favor and pick a different sport to give a bad name, atv riders have enough troubles. And if you would like to try and scare me by telling me your a tough guy, please don't because I scare awful easy.

THIS. It's an endless battle and it isn't going to be resolved ever. Look at how many times this thread has come up before? It has never ended, and it won't end with everybody being happy. Also, don't ever attack my judgement or how smart you think I am or am not. I am in no way trying to voice my personal opinion on the way things should go, but I AM voicing a possible better way to look at things like THIS. IF people were to set ego's aside and look at the entire picture step by step more people would end up being happy. Less people would be ripping down the road on their quads or whatever other kind of vehicle they have. That was my entire point of every single post I have made here. When law makers start looking at more of the picture when they debate these things, less of the bad out comes will happen. End of story.

Bill, you're missing what I am trying to say here I think. But then again maybe you aren't and I don't know it.
Anyway, my point on making laws I think you maybe got half right or maybe I just didn't say it right. As I said before,
I am not saying there shouldn';t be laws because of people opinions, there MUST be laws. What I am trying to clarify by talking
here is that I think they are making these choices without looking at the entire picture before they make their end choice.
I in no means want to actually argue with you because your voice is as good as mine, HOWEVER I was simply stating the fact
that I say these guys don't look over things thoroughly enough when they make these choices. Because of what I said in previous
posts, I am and have been this entire time looking for good reasons to keep an ATV off of a quad and all the ones I find that have
been judged upon or used have a bigger picture to them. And I say that in peoples favor they should look these things over before
they make final judgements. For example, we all know of laws that are flawed and there are ones we say are completely idiotic.
Back to my point, I think there would be a better outcome of people would look things over more before makinga judgement on these
laws.

Why don't we just ignore all my previous posts, because I think I didn't get what I wanted to say across in the right away.
Read my above post and I think that clears things up. I just say, if things like these would be looked over more thoroughly before
making a final choice then more people would be happy and less bad things would happen. How is that wrong? I don't see it as wrong,
but if it is then I will more than happy be willing to say I was wrong and be happy because I now have better knowledge than before.
Like we're doing RIGHT NOW actually, we're debating obviously. We are going over things very thoroughly and pretty soon we are
going to narrow things down. Which IMHO would make a better law making strategy. Because if anyone looks around, you can find laws
that make you go "Wait a second.....I dont think they thought this thru"
