Since there is no general topic on the Rubicon like there was with the 450, I'll start one. I'll start off with a question: What is the resonance chamber on the Rubicon for? Is it something Honda added to decrease the power output of the Rubicon? Would taking it off increase the power?

The oil filter is $8-$9 and the plug lists for $25, but you can get it for $15 or so.

Why is the plug so expensive? Is there something special about it?

It is iridium tipped, which I guess makes it expensive. Look in your owner's manual, it talks about it in there.

About the resonance chamber, take the seat off and you'll see it, it is mounted to the clear air intake with a hose clamp.

The resonance chamber is supposed to help decrease the sound associated with the volume and rate of air flowing thru the snorkel. I was told, by the dealer, that without it, it would definitely be noticed with the large airflow passing by.

Great idea for a topic! I'm curious as to what aftermarket accessories you all have found for the Rubicon. I know there is a winch mount available from OutdoorSouth. Then there are the few items that HL is making. The only other item I have found so far is a plow blade mount from Moose. I have the part number if anyone wants it. Any of you found anything else?

Warn has made their winch mount. It is shown in the latest ATV Action article about the Rubicon. TxDoc2 scanned it in an posted it on his site.
