Ok so the raptor 660....is it faster than say a banshee, and also how would it perform in like slow areas not jumping or that kinda thing but like just slower driving....does anybody know the top speed of a raptor???

 

Top speed can be easily tweaked and I'm not sure if it will beat a Banshee in a drag, but I'd be willing to bet it comes close. As far as slow riding, they say you can put it in 3rd gear and just ride it like an automatic. Like I said earlier, of the big-bores, it is the most nimble and best handling, however this could be greatly improved with some lowering and widening mods to match up with some of the smaller machines. Raptors are notoriously top-heavy.

 

Ok and with reliability issues...its pretty solid....but u said it is really top heavy....do you know how much it would cost to like widen it or lower it or both????does anybody know the top speed of a raptor 660???

 

The top speed seems to be debatable around 72-80mph. For stability mods, check the Yamaha forum as I'm sure there's a ton of ideas over there. Just search for it.

 

ok thanks....and i have checked the yamaha site for some exhaust mods....are those a total rip off or not?? u said exhaust mods usually boost the power quite a bit, right? ...(i would have them put it on so they could rejet it....)
