Hello, I have a few questions ,any one still have a stock pipe on there 250x? I do, an I was wondering what is the spark arrester in that pipe ?I am sure the pipe on the 300ex {stock} are the same but there is no screen in the quiet core{the piece that slides in the end of the pipe;held in with the 2 screws}there is however a plate on the botton of the end piece ,I don't see how that is it either.If you have one you know what I am talking about an please help me out here,I need to know ....1-what part of the pipe is the arrester?
.........2-why is there no packing in there?
.........3- was there a screen at one time an maybe it just burnt out after 12 years of rideing?
.........4-what does the core do?just quiet it or does it spark arrest
