I hear you have had Progressives and works and was wondering which you prefer? Also are they worth the money? How do they compare to original shocks ? Your reply would be greatly appreciated and also nice bike!

The Pro are 6.9 inches of travel, you can order them with softer spring setting but the ones I had where really stiff. I think the second from the bottom(soft) was stock, it does boast ground clearance. The works is far more sport orintated shock it has 7.3 inches and alot more softer ride. It like night and day with stock, the pro where a little bit more plush but not like the works, even set on stiff. I don't know about the increase on height but you can see the pics for yourself, what do you think?

Your bike sits pretty high do you also have a lift or is it just the shocks and tires? I find the stockers bottoming alot on mine in rough terrain but I have about 180lbs or so of acessories and sometimes carry a passenger when out scouting. Do you think the works will handle the task or should I get stiffer springs on them? Thanks for your help.

The Works are alot softer then Progressives offering, they're 7.3 inches and the Pros are 6.9. About the only thing bad is the Price, the Works are quit a bit more and are only on made by order. But they handle the extre weight easy, I have a girlfriend that rides with me.
