Default '04 rancher ES trouble

i need help, sometimes my rancher will get stuck in a gear and wont come out. I get it back in nuetral by using that little wrench thing, anyway this is really annoying. I only have like 16 hours on it. My friend's rancher is doing this also. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Are you getting an error code of any kind? If the light is flashing, how many times?

I have never had a problem with mine.

I do have a clymer manual so if it's flashing a code I could help you out with what the code means.

Also, when you say it gets stuck in a gear, are you talking about riding in 3rd and when you go to shift up or down, it won't?

Or, are you talking about starting the quad when it was turned off in a gear other than neutral?

Have you tried rocking the quad side to side when it happens?

Mine got stuck one time and rocking the quad cause it to shift and I have never had a problem since.
