recon speed?
#2
My friend owns a Recon. It will go around 45mph. That may not seem fast but the recon is more quick than fast. What I mean is it has more acceleration than speed. When I first saw him riding the recon I was very impressed by how much bottom-end power it has. It is really quick coming out of the hole.

47 mph depending on the length of road, wind flow and temp.
I've seen 55 mph on the Foreman's stock speedo once. All the stars have to be aligned for that.
Which I believe is really about 53 mph.
The average top speed for my 2001 Recon was probably around 45. (without the best circumstances) Aren't the newer Recons supposed to be a little faster?

I guess those 50 extra CC's give it a lot more life.
My little 200 will barely hit high 30's. Oh well, it's quick enough to run over Coyotes with.
I imagine they're bulletproof, too, seeings how the Recon took the 200 Type II place.
