400ex vs banshee
#21
Hey Trailblazer00, i read some of the posts on here and a few guys nailed it on the head about both quads, they both have good points but i know how the terrian is in PA and the 400ex is the best quad suited for PA. The Banshee would be great for some of those coal mountains though. i have blasted my 400ex up some sand piles and it does good but nothing too extreme. I have been to Tower City and the Madera Poker Run and the 400ex did great at those places.

NO QUESTION.buy the honda-best-brakes,tranny,suspension,handling,reliability,torq ue,wheelies, lap times........and if you want more power-you can have as much as the money you have.for $2000 u.s. alba racing has a supercharger(bolt on)adds 25hp@8psi on a STOCK motor.sure you can do up a banshee but the more power you get from it -the worst it handles on trails and the less traction you get.the more power you get out of the 400ex-the bigger your grin will be.i've ridden both.it would take way more than 2000 bucks to get 55-60hpout of a banshee anyway.but i don' think you need it anyway(yet).a stock 400(or K&N powerkit and a pipe will give you graditude and plenty of smiles for years.i use to be an avid 2 stroke guy-until i traded in my cr250 on a 400ex.mind you i did spend 2500 bucks-canadian to bring it up to 40-42hp(much better)(i wish i knew about the supercharger back then though)but i just love the way she wheelies at 60mph in fourth gear and winds out to 80mph when she drops back down(it'll still pull higher gearing without hesitation)i'm totally a 4 stroke fan now ther,s no comparison to torque, and with some bucks you can make her pull like a freightrain up to 10500rpm NO REGRETS=HONDA
