When it boils down to it I think bike shops suck. Especially the service departments.

Once they've got the quads, they like to keep them until the warranty runs out. j/k

It helps if you lie to them. You could have told them that you bought it for a special trip or something and you have to have it back by a certain date. Why not? They lie and say it'll be done by a certain date and keep it longer.

By the way, please don't post in all caps. It's against the rules.

Default WARRANTY BLUES

Welp, I called the dealer this morning again to check on my Foreman..Same story, waiting on c.v.boot to come ups..same story for 8 days now. I hang up and call back and ask for my salesman. I tell him i want to buy another quad the same color and everything as the first Foreman..He was all excited and said sure , but you have bought two in the last two months, one for you and one for your godson, who is this one for..I told him for me. I wanted all the accessories taken off the one i bought two weeks ago and put on this new one! He was all confused until I told him it was sitting in his service dept. for the last eight days and I was sick of waiting for such a small repair. HE promised to go check on it and call me right back. I didnt hear anything for two hours and then he called and said Come and Get it...ITs ready!! Next time I know to go through my salesman if I have to go back, but truly I would rather take a beating!!

I know this is off the subject , but I noticed you are from west virginia. I have been told there is a place there called< hatfields and mccoys?> Its suppose to be a town where ride four wheelers every where you go when you are not riding the trails through the mountains. Are you familiar with it? My honda dealership parts man was telling me about it about a month ago..

It really depends on the salesman. When I went back to the dealership that I bought my Recon off of because of a problem. The salesman tried his best to avoid me.
