I'm looking to get a 250 size ATV for hunting lease and to work around the house.
I like the RECON. But... the artic cat looks good to.
Will the artic cat hold up as far dependability goes. I want one to last me a long time.

Thanx,

David

Well to tell you what, For the 250cc class range
the recon is the best that you get, Honda is known
for it's superior realibity and durabity but if you wnat somthing else, thats really you'r desion.

My best info to you is to test drive them both and find out witch one that would suit you the best.

I rode an arctic crap 500 for a day and by the afternoon the thing was overheating and the fan wouldnt run, also all the lights that told you what gear you were in got all screw up ,and my buddy on an artic kitty 300 had the brakes fail half way through the ride. so I say that if you want the best reliability go with the honda. except if you want the most power and smootest ride go with a polaris.

There is not a better 250 4stroke quad out there. If you test drive both of them you will see. Honda has the best reliability, AC is probably about the same as the others.
