Tire size
#1
I have a 05 Rincon. Most of the guys around here switch to a bigger tire, generally two sizes larger (25" to 27"). I feel it raises your center of gravity which decreases your stability, raises your gearing which lowers your pulling power and puts more of a strain on your drive train, all for up to an inch more ground clearance. What is the consensus of opinion on this board? Thanks.

They will raise your center of gravity but if you get wider tires as well they will help give you back some traction for low-end power. If you are doing serious mud-running, then bigger tires are a must. They are also nice to have when climbing over tall obstacles. The Rincon is more of a sport-oriented quad so I don't know how big I would go because I heard that the transmission on them is goofy (ackward shift points, seems to have lack of power, etc.). I have never been to Texas so I am not sure if there are many hills and such that you would have a problem with keeping your stability from larger tires. If you are doing any pulling with the Rincon I would say that you have the wrong quad anyway, and I am sure that most would agree with me, because it already has a lack of low-end power. Go with ITP 589's or something that is taller, wider, and nearly the same weight as stock. This will help prevent strain on the drive-train. Also a jet kit and a K&N air filter ($50 each) would properly tune the engine and let it breathe better, giving your Rincon more power to turn the tires. If you want ground clearance without larger tires go with a lift-kit for under $100. Note this will also raise the center of gravity on you Rincon. I hope that I helped.
