hey guys, a dealer out here has got quite a few 04 rubicons left and wants to get rid out pretty fast. he said he'd throw in that brake light, windsheild, winch deal. donmt know if u guys had that in the states. so my question is do i wait for the 05's and pay the extra cash and get a bigger fuel tank, discs, traxlok, or get the 04 cheaper with that deal. thanx

i got my 04 rubi for $10300 inclueding the winch.
and the dealer said if i want the brake light and windsheild kit i had to pay the retail price witch was $10499 plus extra for the kit.
and the winch was an extra $600 dollerson top of that.
so i ask what kind of deal i could get with just the winch.
and he said $9700 for the honda plus $600 for the winch installed.
so i went that way because i dont think the windsheild and brakelight kit was worth it.
if you look at the brakelight kit its just a light you atach to the back of the quad and it has a couple of switches for your brake and foot leavers.
and the windsheild can be had for a $150 bucks
so i dident think it was worth the extra bucks.

It depends on if the price for the '04 is right. If you buy the '05 you won't be wondering what if. If you buy the '04 will you regret it later? It's really up to you.

How about the Foreman (475 cc) 500 for less $$?

If money isn't an issue then I'd say buy a '05 Rubi with disc brakes and selectable 4x4.

 

thanx guys, yah i foned back and he said no less then 9600 plus installation on the winch and 175 for the windsheild. he said we could check out a black rinny but we need to haul some heavy loads and crap too on the farm so we gave him our # and he said he'd fone when the 05's come in. he said it shouldnt be too long. but yah were going for the 05 rubi with the extras features. now i got anohter question...whcih color do u guys like best? and how is ure feul mileage on the rubi? haha thanx alot
