Honda 400EX to a 440?????
-There is different companies that make 440 kits, mine is a Weisco.
-Mine is also reliable.
-You will need to have a different sleeve pressed in the jug.
-There is many good pipes, mine is a white bros. E-series
If I had a 05' model, I would just pipe it, jet it, and put a after market filter on it and be done with it for a while.

True,
There's many bikes faster than the 400EX, there's quite a few bikes faster than your Yam and Suz also...What's the point?
The mentality 'mines faster than yours' is so childish. Unfortunately, we hear this all too often on this forum. POINT: Not all of us desire to have the fastest bike around. We just want to have some safe, dependable fun while were riding and get some respectful information while were here on this forum. Hopefully, we can all enjoy this forum in an adult manner...leave your child sense to Seseme Street. For those of you children that can't respect this...someday you'll understand that it's unlikely that you'll always have the fastest, badest ATV around. Other obligations and responsibilities and especially a recognition that someone will always have more money and time than you do, will have a faster ATV, and unless your a professional racer...WHO REALLY CARES?!! I'd guess we all have ATVs (why else would we be here?).
Sorry for the soapbox...I guess it's the result of a sh--ty day! Let's leave it alone now and have some fun!

maddog,
I see you're one of the sensitive children that can't handle reason. You're hardly worth this reply. However, I seriously doubt that ghawkmans girlfriend, at 115lbs, unless she's been riding a 450 or the like, will feel like the power of a 400EX is lacking.

He is asking about the 440 kit for the 400ex and how to make it faster and more powerful...
I do not appreciate your tone with me and I think you are out of line.
