Default Going back to Dino!

A few months ago I switched to Mobil 1 MX4T motor oil (full synthetic) and the last few times I had it out I noticed my clutch slipping. At first it only did it when speed shifting while drag racing but it has gotten worse. I'm thinking its because of the oil cause it never did this when I was running the dino. It possibly could be a worn clutch but the bike isn't even a year old and I'm not really that hard on it except for a little drag racing now and then. I have some mods on it but nothing major (stock bore and compression) but it does run good.
I'm going to try dino again and see if it helps. Have any of you guys had problems with your clutch running full synthetic motor oil? Or is it typical for a clutch to go this soon? What say you, Man?..........

Not sure what the oil specs are, but did you make sure it didnt have any friction modifiers in it?

Not sure but MX4T is Mobil 1s 4 stroke motorcycle oil so you would think I shouldn't have problems with the clutch but ?

ok, didnt know the specs on the oil so I figured I'd ask. Dont know what to tell you if you were having clutch slippage then. Maybe your plates are worn out...

Since the tranny uses the same oil as the motor I was told by many mechanics to use a synthetic "blend" if you want synthetic. And the folks at Wiesco recomend a synthetic blend after break in.

I presume that MX4T is motorcycle oil, not car oil???

I run Honda HP4 synth blend in all my manual clutch bikes (but not autoclutch bikes).
