Hey Reconranger, man every 2-5hrs is a lot of oil changes. I use my Rubicon everyday around the farm & if I changed my oil every 2-5hrs I would literally have to change it every day or at the most every other day. Don't get me wrong, I respect that you like to take care of your equipment. I change my oil every 50hrs and take it do the dealer every other time so they can do the valve adjustment and check everything out. (what dealer recommended) In your opinion am I neglecting my quad? I want to take care of it and if its true that more frequent oil changes will make it last longer then I'll start doing it more frequently.

 

2-5 hrs. would only be for the 450R. They have very little oil in them (less than a quart), and they are high revving, so they are going to be hard on oil.
