best brake pads?

which last longer and are better? they wear out so fast! 400ex & 300ex

I've found that the stock Honda pads seem to last the longest.

Go to a solid rotor setup to greatly increase pad life.

what about Braking brake pads .....thinking about gettin those.

I bought EBC. so far they out lasted the stock pads, but these have signs of wear also. It's hard to do but try and keep sand, mud and other debris from getting on the rotor and pads.

Remember, pads are suppose to wear so the rotor does not wear. Pads are suppose to be the sacrificial anode in the equation.

bpace,
wouldn't the solid rotor cause exessive heat build up. I'm just curious, I was going to go with a solid rotor but decided not to for this reason.

I use solid rotors front and rear without any heat problems. I also change my brake fluid about every five rides and condsidering I race and ride woods I also get the benefits of external cooling.(mud holes, creeks, etc.)
