beat a piped banshee
#12
Sometimes anythings possible in drag racing, at least on sand anyways. I raced and beat a couple of Raptors on one race (not typical) but lost to a stock 400EX and DVX on the next (not typical either but my clutch started slipping)...............
To find out whos really faster, take it to the streets (race on asphalt).

something is wrong with the shee, or he wasn't getting traction. My friend use to beat me all the time on his 200 moto 4 on the ice when I was on my shee. But I think in a fair fight I would whip him.

Maddog56 He does not mention the distance of the race or terrain on which the race was conducted so it's anybodys guess. I know from my experience that my Raptor will whip up on any stock 450r all day long. I don't motorcross, so that's out the door. But if any Honda owner gets a bright idea with a modded 450r or there 450 dirtbike there's a KTM525sx that's just waiting to put some hurting on the Honda boys & I'm willing to put the titles on the line for any of my rides......

stock for stock they are IDENTICAL top speed. i have proven this many times. i think a stock 450 would give it a run or MIGHT even pull even, but not beat. in a long race the banshee will be faster. o and u only need about an 1/8 to hit top speed
