i put a 01 cr 250 in a friends 88 250r is ther a way to change it to forward kick verses backwards kick so he doesnt have to remove his plastic every time to start it.

 

sure its possible. honda had to do this when they put the engine in the trx yrs ago.

call service honda. when they went to make their "new" 250R/400ex contraption, utilizing a new cr250r engine in a 400ex frame, they worked with honda engineers to do exactly what you what to do- to make it kick forward instead of backwards.
