Okay i just bought the durablue rear strut for the 400ex and forgot to see how long the threads were, so that i would not over extend it. Does anyone know about how long the threads are and also, after i installed the strut i had a really hard time trying to get the lock nuts to tighten. Its really tight and cant really get a wrench in there. How are you supposed to tighten the lock nuts? Any help would be appreciated. If nothing else i will just take it all back apart to see how long the threads auctally are, maybe i wont have to. Also about how much with this strut lower the rear of the bike? Because i was told that is would lower about 2 inches, but it looks more like 3 to 3.5. Thanks.
