if i were to put on a new pipe, would that change much of the performance or is it just not worth it? and does the trx have so much low end power that it would be ok to gear it to run a little faster or is it really slowing it down? also, what would you say a good price is for a brand new 2004 trx450?

A pipe will make a noticeable difference, meaning BIG difference. And also I wouldn't change the gearing, it's fast enough and quick enough, if you go up a size in sprocket, the low end grunt wont be as good as stock gearing. I don't really know the prize because it depends where you are, here there are expensive as hell I guess around $5000-$5500. Hit up the nearest dealer you have.

Help you later need to go eat.

ok, well i would dought i would mess with the gearing but i like to just check out all my options. i checked out a 04 Honda trx 450 and they wanted 5600, but if u look at msrp, it is rediculus!!....but if i do get a quad i would probly weight until they drop the old year and need to get in new one's in...cause like, last summer i bought an xr100 (me and my bro split it, he is 12 but it is to small for me) and i got if for 1400, and i thought it was a great deal. but it was a leftover.
