Help me find a quad for gf.
I posted this on the Yamaha Forum but they wanted me to move it.
Anyway I'm thinking about the Rally for her, vs. the Recon (Honda) What do you think? Thanks.... Izord

I have a Blaster and a Banshee, right now the Banshee motor is at Patriot Racing for porting. I'll get it back soon and want to take the bikes to Little Sahara in OK, got my paddle tires already. : )
Problem is my gf is too uncoordinated to deal with a hand clutch, and she's tiny so starting might be a problem with a kick starter. She has a lot of fun on my nephew's Eton Viper 40 though which has an automatic tranny. (Belt drive)
So I want to find her a quad that she can more or less kind of keep up with me. (right) It needs to have the following:
Electric start.
Automatic tranny, preferably full auto. (But just auto-clutch will probably work)
About the 200 cc size.
2 stroke is preferable but not necessary. (Because I love 2 strokes!)
All it needs is two wheel drive.
I have been to the sites of the big four, but not sure what to think yet?
Can you guys help me out please? Izord

i would say the pheonix but havent heard anything about them yet, would a z 250 or 250ex keep up better? how about a trailblazer 250? the trail blazer also weighs about 461lbs, my recon weighs 406, and is considerable light. she probably wouldnt have a problem, its full auto, 2 stroke,
Find another Blaster and put one of those auto clutches in it, she will have to shift but that's it. The cost is around $400 but if you could use the quad you have you'll be saving money..

Help me find a quad for gf.
The little Recon rocks! Descent power, handles great, autoclutch, dead solid reliable, and there are a few improvements this year (suspension).
BUT, if you don't need the racks, GET THE 250EX! It is basically a Recon, but without all the ute stuff on it, so it's 50 lbs. LIGHTER. It will do anything the Recon will, and she will like the lighter weight (especially if she is small). And, it is a little wider, and therefore more stable.

Since you love two strokes and want it to be around 200cc the only one is the blaster an trailblazer. but the blaster has a clutch and it would prolyl be kinda hard to put an auto clutch in and if you prefer auto than get the trailblazer. plus they are pretty fast too from what ive heard.
