The difference is actually 20hp. The XR650 puts out 49-50hp and the XR400 puts out just over 30hp. These figures are out of DIRT BIKE. If I am not mistaken, they use the dyno at White Bros. when they publish ACTUAL rear wheel horsepower.

 

The most it will put out will be about 40hp in a quad.

Why the 10hp drop? If an XR400 puts out 30hp and a 400ex puts out 27hp, what would make you think the 650 would more than 3-5hp?

 

He doesn't know, just like nobody outside of Honda knows what will happen at the release. He only hopes that There is no 650EX, and if there is one, he hopes it will only put out 40 ponies, and he hopes his Raptor is the best, because he doesn't know for sure.

 

HA! So it is pure speculation, I wouldnt hold your breath for this one. Honda is most likely going to release a new Motorcycle and maybe a dirtbike.

I would like to see a 650 sport quad but I think it will be a small (Recon) 4x4 model.
