250r has no compression
#1
my friends pulled my '83 250r off in a mudhole as payback cuase i did it to his big bear.now about three weeks later i have not fired the motor and i went to messin with it today and i kicked it and it had hardly any compression. i can usually stand on the kick starter for three or four seconds but now the weight of my foot will kick it over

Assuming your spark plug is right and im going to assume the engine was running when pulled through and that you drove it back home. When the hot engine and cool water hit it probally caused the block to cool down some and after running it probally caused dentonation damage to the rings. That is where the rings get pushed in all the way and wont come out. Assuming all my guesses are right you will have to rip the top end apart(not hard, but get a book makes putting together eaiser) and rebuild it. Also if it was just the piston or rings damaged thats only bout $100 but you will probally scorn on the cylinder meaning a bore up or just a honeing depending on how bad it is. The reason i know this is my buddys 83' CR480 had the same thing happen after he went through a puddle, hope this helps.

first off i just did a total rebuild.it has had 2 tanks of gas run through the top end.he pulled the three wheeler to the mudhole and covered it in mud and then the next day i pulled it out with my buddy's grizzly.it was never running in the mudhole
