Color Choice - Yellow?
#1
I'm planning on buying two ATV's in the next few months -- A yellow Rancher AT for my wife and a Rubicon or Rincon for myself. Darn, I like that black Rincon, but I'm not sure that black is a good color choice for an ATV. (And right now I am leaning more toward the Rubicon than the Rincon -- no black Rubicons.) I know that color is a matter of taste. I am considering yellow if I go with the Rubicon. As far a showing marring and scratches, etc. is yellow the least like to show them. Is yellow a popular color for Honda ATV's?

I got a yellow 400ex, it doesn't show scratches and doesn't even look dirty when it is, if that makes sense. I didn't like it at first, but I got such a good deal I could over look it. It is growing on me though. I saw the new yellow YFZ450 this weekend, actually looks pretty cool when you are standing next to it. It has the same black stripes like the old YZ's of the late 70's-80's.

although black does look pretty sweet, i wouldnt get it, u would notice the fading too much(that is if u leave it out in the rain 1 too many times) but i would say black would hide the scratches better....if they arent too deep, but on my red 250 its scratched to hell from hauling a cut down tree and u dont see them unless ur looking for them

Yellow man, Yellow! My Foreman is yellow and i love it. Had it a couple of months and it still looks new! My godsons sportax is red and its only one month older and it looks rough already. Red shows scratches bad even if you keep it clean and waxed. The rancher is green and it shows scratches almost as bad as the red..Definately go yellow!! You cant beat it!
