I would go with the 250ex over the Z250. I haven't riden either of them but from opinions and reviews, the 250ex sounds like the better one.

the 250 is bullet prof it is fundamently almost exactly like the recon. it will land rough on jumps but for a trail quad especialy the slower stuff its great. very comfortable to ride. there are not many afte ramrket parts for it. it is a little under powered for most step hills but i have climbed stuff on my recon that most people wouldn't so i can get through most any trail obstacle with a little touch of riding skill. i would personaly recomend the 300ex though more power better handling more fun

not much was changed otehr than graphics...the difference???big differnce....not much in size but it does has a substantial amount of more power...alsoit has a clutch so it has a differnt way to get the power to the ground...it is chain driven and not shaft so you have more matnince...ride differnce its a bit rougher but thats all...over all its a good quad and that is a good price

2005 250ex opinions
hey the guy said off the start he didnt want a 300ex.....
but my 05 trx250ex outclimbs a 99 500 sportsman....(both stock)
and i got my dad to clock me he said i was pegging 60 wound-out...
and i ride with the sportsman and a 99 500 scrambler.. i gonna get the DMC alien exhuast... so i can really smoke em [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img].......
