Is it possible to put a cr500r motor in a trx250r quad

Default Is it possible to put a cr500r motor in a trx250r quad

Anyone ever seen it done or know if it is possible?

Lots of these out there. Also several in Banshee frames.

Just google "TRX500R" and you should come up with a few.

Didn't they had a vibration problem ??
Something like if you hold the handlebars more than 4 minutes you loose you teeths ??
If somebody solves that issue, keeping a stock frame, I'm getting one now !

Yes, a 500cc single cylinder non counterbalanced 2 stroke is going to vibrate, just a lil[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img] You can use rubber mounts to help reduce vibration, along with filling your handlebars with foam. I think either MP Racing or FTZ succesfully built a few 250r/500 hybrid motors using the R bottom end and CR500 top end. They sold the kit for right around $3k and they ripped!
