Default drag race....

250X, i seen it done, i'm not sure if the gearing ratios are changed or not, and too me it seems like the 300 is a little bigger than the 250, plus you got the weight differences too

The 300ex is essentially a bored (and maybe stroked, I dont recall) version of the 250x engine. So your "engine technology" is the same. The 300 will win based on displacement but not by much. You can easily work over a 250x to beat a 300ex.

Actaully the 250x's did have reverse. My buddy has a 87 and it has reverse.

Yep they do have reverse, wish the 250Rs had reverse

That's funny!! You give great info and advice but more than half the time your replys are negative. If someone posts something that may have been covered in the past the first thing you do is ream a new one and tell them to "do a search". Maybe you should practice what you preach......
