Does anyone know what wire that comes out of the stator gives power to the head lights?

Yes...none of them. The lights on a 350X were run off the battery.

 

unfortunitly an 1985 350x three wheeler does not have a battery there is a kick start and no other electronics that whould require a battery. Some models came with electric start but the majority dont. and if the bike did have a battery which wire would go to the battery.

 

Hmm...sorry about that, maybe I was mistaken. I'll take a look at the wiring diagram tomorrow.
