Default Bad Idea??

My buddy has a 250x that the motor has went out on it and is willing to sell it to me for $450. He has bought so far for this thing a new durablue axle, lonestar bearing carrier, new seat, new bearings front and back, new nerf bars, new dg grab bar, and new brake pads for the front. Plus all it needs to be a good running bike is a new engine, rear shock, and sterring stem bearings. I'm wondering if it would be a bad idea to take the interchangeable parts off of my 350x and put on the 250x like the engine, oil cooler, wiring, swingarm, rear shock, and air box? I'm kinda thinkin it would be dumb to do that since the 350x is in great shape but it would make one sweet quad once i would be finished w/ it. Or should i just buy it for the hell of it since he's sellin it that cheap w/ all those goodies w/ it? What do you all think?
