Default Warn 424 & a Roost!

Finally installed my Warn 424 on my Rancher and what a difference! It took me about 5.5 hrs. to do it, that long because I'm an idiot....lol. Went riding yesterday at Nellis Dunes and really noticed a difference. Here's a Vid (small) of some sand slinging on my Rancher

What is the difference you noticed. When in 2x4 did you notice it steer differently.
Im thinking of putting one on my Rancher to be.

Not quite sure on the steering...if anything, it's steers a little easier. The difference is now my Rancher feels alot more sporty. I can do donuts, fishtails, etc. I can now also pull ahead quite easily when racing my wife's Rancher (before, we were dead even)....now she wants me to put one on her quad. I told her: Okay babe, just as soon as I get my new exhaust and jet kit.

That vid really shows the difference the 424 can make. It looks like it can increase the fun factor a lot. I have been debating adding the 424 to my Foreman for a long time now. I think I am going to start saving up for it.

I highly recommend the Warn 424. I installed one on my Forman 450 2 years ago and I love it. Its the only reason I decided to get the highlifter spool locker, if I never had the 424, the spool would make hard pack riding impossible.

For everyone thinking about getting the 424 Select.......GET IT! I had one on my Wolverine and loved it. It was pretty easy to install. The hardest part was breaking loose the bolts that hold on the differential. The 424 really wakes up the sportiness of fulltime 4WD quads. They make riding more fun . You can do the power slides and donuts just like all your 2WD buddies do on their quads. Do yourself a favor and get it.
