250x v.s. 300ex what's the speed &power...

Whats the difference in speed and power of these 2 atv's?& how does the suspension compare?

no one knows yet but my bet is the 250ex will be slower and wont have as good of a suspension but I think it is an ingenious little nich (spelling) that honda has started

Thats what i think about the 250ex too but, i'm talking about the OLD 250X Honda made before the 300ex.

there basicly the same atv. the 300 ex is an upgraded 250x they just added a stroker

The 250X & 300EX are close to being twins. Same frame & suspension. Engines are the same, except the 300EX has a longer stroke and has electric starter. The 250X is lighter because it has no battery or electic starter, and some riders prefer it over the 300Ex because it is extremely good on tight trails. Both are really good bikes & have more power than you would think from the cc displacement. It is easier to hop up the 300EX because you are starting with more cc's. Though a friend of mine beats 400EX's on the MX track with his 250X that is extremely modified (406cc).
Both have reverse, but if you do a lot of open riding, not having a 6th gear could be a negative.
