Got myn thursday and i read it all thursday.... but any way i read the "THe FIRST 4-WHEELERS" and @ the end it ses "which manufacture would be so bold to introduce something so revolutionary?" i know wich one it isssssssssss!!!!!!!!!!!!!1 it has to be the ~Legandery 250R !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
back then noone expected honda to put out such a great quad but they realy were the ones who got it moving fast! i know suzuki had the lt125 but the 250R was the bike that made 4-wheelers populer!

I know I'm in the wrong forum to be saying this, but back when the 250R FourTrax was out, the other popular model was the Suzuki QuadSport 230, which was a ton of fun as well, and for quite awhile, I believe it was more popular than the Honda's...

I started riding on a 200X ATC, then went to a 250R FourTrax, then to a QuadSport 230. They weren't my machines, so it just happened that I ended up on the Suzuki. But it was a hell of a bike as well...

Just my $.02

Haven't read the article, but I highl doubt it would be the Fourtrax 250R. Suzuki released their own LT250R in '84 as an '85 model. Legendary, yes. Revolutionary, no. Honda did release the first 4X4 though.

o brother grow up. if ur talking stock machines i doubt it can "beat the crap out of it" infact the 87-92 was faster the the 250r. also the lt250r beat the 250r in an 86 shootout in atv action. besides whos comparing? all they're were doing is showing u the quad that started what we now have (yfz450,450r etc) so take ur baby talk somewhere else
