I have never ridden or owned a Suzuki quad but i can say from experience that the 2 SUCKzuki outboard boat motors I owned were the worst motors I have ever ran on a boat. They were great for the first 200 - 300 hrs or so and everything went down hill from there. They could not stand up to they element, gas usuage got worse and worse as they got older and thier parts were expenxive as he//. We got lucky on one and sold it before anything major happened but with the second one we weren't so lucky! At about 400 hrs the motor threw a rod on the #4 cylinder and the motor was only three years old! After that experience I have never ran anything but Yamaha outboards. I dont know if thier are many fisherman on here(particularly saltwater) who have ran these outboards that have had better luck? That experience there gave me enough reason to stay away from Suzuki! I hope thier quads arent the same as thier outboards but it seems like everyone on her is happy with them so that good! I'll stick with my Honder!
