snow tire choice?
The tires on my 86 Fourtrax 350 don't seem very good in the snow. It seems like my Big Red could handle much deeper snow and steep hills with only the 2 rear wheels driving. Are there certain types of tires better than others for snow and loose dirt trails?
Thanks in advance

the 86 Fourtrax 350 is the 4wd model right???? i'd go with ITP 589's, Gators, or Mudzillas, they are all a mud/snow tire, but do well in dry packed dirt also, they give incredible traction and have excellent tread wear, these tires don't give a rough ride neither for being mud tires. the ITP 589's look the best though and the most expensive

snow tire choice?
i liked the gators on my cat 500 they were an awsome tire
and i have mudzillas on my kawi and there a sweet tire also.
the zillas will take you where you want to go no matter what.
i also have mud lites on my honda and i realy liked them till i got my kawi with the zillas and now i think the zillas are #1.
but there the only three i tryed and if i was looking for some tires now i would pic.
#1 mud zillas.
#2 gators.
#3 mud lites.
the zillas seem to work the best so far but i road the cat with the gators through deeper snow and they were great in deep snow.
im not sure how the zillas would be in snow deeper then a foot cause thats the deepest snow we could find around here since i got the kawi.
this winter sucks so far its bin raining this last two weeks straight.
anyhow the gators or zillas are better then the mud lites.
but the lites are a great valu for the money.
but if you want the best the you should get the gators or zillas or the dirt devils.
any of those tires will do the job just fine.
and they will last 3 times longer then the mud lites.
