50.7 on the trail tech in a flat cornfield. No wind. Different machines will have different results though because it all matters if the owner took the time to break in the engine.

 

250exridr, hey man chill out the only reason i posted that site was to prove the quad will not do 60 mph. The site said 47 so im guessing thats a good ballpark figure im sure the quad is capeable of going a little faster. I didnt search around for the exact speed cause i wanted an ballpark. I just wanted to prove that stock it wont go 60 mph, im not looking to start anything here.

 

When dirtwheeles did a shootout between a Blaster and a 250EX, they said the Blaster did 55 mph and 250EX hit 51 mph.

 

ok ok, i can believe that. It just is not going to do 60 stock.

 

u can only gear it up using bigger back tires, its shaft drive

ill have to say the top speed of a 250ex is 53-55!!!!!!! Thats the top speed for a fact cause my dad has a rancher and that goes 52 and i blow right pasted him with my 250ex in 4th gear!!!!!!!! NO LIE!!!!!![img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-mad.gif[/img]

 

My lil bros 01' 250ex with 22" dirt devil tires on flat road with 150IBS rider went ~77km/hr clocked with gps and it would just be pulling away from the 350's that max out at about 73km/hr.

 

I'll tell you one thing that 250exs are not slow!!!! I dont know about the 01-03s but the 05s are fast!!!!!!!! (stock) I just cant wait till i get some more mods.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

 

my stock 250ex could do 80mph on a straight away...............jk............ its max speed is about 54
