i dont really like the 450R... i mean its an excellent quad.. but go and compare the 2 bikes.. the predator VS the 450R.. ive NEVER been a polaris fan.. but you go look at the compenents on the pred vs the 450R and you will see that the pred is a way better bike. the new troy lee editions rock. and the predator is wider than the 450 so i can only imagine that it handles better. its just a lot more quad for the money in my opinion.. but anyways i finally figured out with some help of a lot of people i will never have that predator in 5th gear in the woods... so why pay for it? why pay for a newer quad that goes 80mph when i wone ever have it that high unless its on pavement... there is no need in my opinion. i LOVE the bike though.. and would like to have one.. but i wont pay that kind of money to go beat it around the trails i ride on. i think that a 400EX with a few mods would be just as fast as a predator in the woods.

2000 400EX... bore kit.... Pipe... Filter... air box mods... Jet kit... change gearing... 450R shocks. i think that would be a nice little set up. and i can get all that for a LOT less than i can get a predator.. i can get 400EXs around here for 2500$ for really nice ones. so i think thats what i am gonna do.. but thanks for the input man.
