I have the same problem with the front left shock on my Rancher. I checked the bushings and spring. The problem seems to be in the shock itself. Just like the guys say in the other replys, spraying with WD-40 or PB Blaster helps the most.

MDRracing313 has the right idea. If the Rincon is like a Rancher, and it probably is...jack it up, easier to remove the front tires, remove the bottem shock bolt, push on the A arm and remove the bottem of the shock from the arm, pull out the metal collar and slather some good grease on it and the bushing, reinstall.
