TRIPLELSTROKER how does your Rancher compare to your ForemanS 4x4? Does 4-wheel drive seem to make a difference? What about the ride on the two of them (Rancher & Foreman) is it alot smoother on either one?

I am saving up money for either a 2005 RancherS 2x4 or a 2005 ForemanS 4x4!

Hopefully I will have enough money to buy one by October 2005 (hope to get a job at Chickfila

It hasnt been 30 minutes ago that I told a friend if I could sell my Foreman today I would go buy another one of these Rancher AT 4x4 machines like this one. The Rancher is so quick, hit 42 from my house to the barn probably 500 feet away. My Foreman barely runs that fast on top end..The Rancher is only a tad bit smaller and still fits my 6'3" frame just fine. It rides smoother, cant tell any difference in the 4wd verses the 2wd modes in the handling. The Foreman handling gets a lot tougher in 4wd. The Rancher handles as lightly as my old Rancher 2wd did..Its a nice machine. I figured it would be because I had been watching EBAY and alll the local papers for months looking for a used one. There are none for sale is this part of the country. Everyone that buys one, keeps it!! That says a lot to me..I would recommend the Rancher over the Foreman for sure. I love my Foreman, dont get me wrong, but the rancher is a way better machine..It has working brake lights, cranks in gear if you hold the brake handle in, real comfy, just love it so far. It will get a test this weekend for sure.

Do you have a Rancher S 2x4 or a Rancher AT 400 and then what type of Foreman do you have (year,ES or S Selectable 4x4or2x4)

Its hard to believe that your foreman wont go faster that 42 my neighbor has an 02 ForemanES with selectable 4-wheel drive and ive gone 48 in 4th gear (has 5 gears) hes gone about 58-60 top speed!!!

reliv007.
i dont beleave your friends will do 58 to 60.
my rubicon will do 50mph with the 26" mud lites.
and with the stock tires i could get 53 to 55 mph if i held it on a long stretch of road.
you ride it yourself and see because if hes telling you that hes full of crap.
i know 5 people with rubicons and not 1 will do 60 mph.
and i know 3 guys with 450 formans and the say if they hit 50 they will be lucky.

and tripplestroker.
i would call the better buisness bureau like gimpster said.
it wont hurt and it will make the dealer think twice about ripping somome off again.
when i was a kid (18) i bought a car from this place and drove it home and three days later the motor blew up.
i called the dealer and he said that it was fine when it left there lot and that i must have over reved it or beat it to hard and they were not going to touch it.
my mom ( thank god for moms) called them up and he said the same thing to my mom.
so she said she was calling the better BB and he laughed at her.
so she made the call and told the person on the other end what happend and that he laughed at her when she said she was calling them.
2 hours after my mom hung up the phone it rang and it was the dealer and they said to bring the car in and they would fix it.
my mom said that they had to pay for the tow job and he said no, so she made another call next thing you know a tow truck was at our house picking up my car.
they put a new motor in it at no charge to me.
and all it took was one phone call to set them straight.

Reliv007 change your icon...you theif!!

And i also raise the BS flag when you say that Rancher with stock tires and no mods will do 47 in 4th gear. Maybe if your traveling down MT. St. Helens..but no way on a flat road.

I ride with a buddy that has a 04 Rancher es and his does 45-47 tops.

I now purchase most of my stuff from Matthew at atvoutfitters.net or maybe its .com. He is located in Greenville, SC and is maybe 25 miles from me. He does ship ups anything you want..My local dealership gets 800 bucks for a 26inch Bigfoot Kit. Matthew gets 550 bucks out the door, lugs , caps, valve stems, mounted and ready to go. Check out his website sometime.
