400ex CDI rev box

Default 400ex CDI rev box

ok where are these things call me stupid but i dont know how to install a white brothers cdi box i want one but do know what u have to do to install one is hard to install and where does it install and also do u have to adjust anything when u install it thanks

the stock cdi box is under the front fender, a little higher than the radiator. I think you just take out the stock on and plug in the new. correct me if im wrong...

yes, under the right front fender. it is a rubber holder. just so no one gets confused, your talking about an oil cooler, not a radiator.

Trailgunner, Like they said. You should not need to adjust anything just make sure its secure since I think the new CDI is smaller than stock (mine was) and it fell out of the rubber holder a few times.

ok thanks guys also does it give u a bit more power can u feel the diff im not doing any motor work just adiing this with what i got

from what ive heard it is best to get a full exhaust or slip on or you want notice any difference except higher revs

i have slip on t4 pro circuit k&n filter with precharger and jet kit

i doubt you will notice anything. put in a higher revving cam and you would be able to use the extra rpms.

From what I have heard you will need to carry your old one also as the bike will be a pain in the rear to start when hot. Thats just what I have heard.
I dont know why people do it when it hurts reliability!?!

depending on the brand, yes you may. the sparks, white brother, etc are just junk. i have been there before. i now run a gt thunder and i can start my bike just fine. i hear TC and the big gun boxes don't make it much harder to start either.
