I'm looking to put 25inch mudrunners on my rancher AT, and I'm looking for feed back on these tires. I know their a bit heavier than the stock 24 dirt hooks. will I notice any power loss? how do they tend to wear? are they a good trail tire? thanks to all who reply

I had 25x8 and 25x10 mudrunners on my 350 rancher and found them to be the best all terrain tires that I have ever used.Traction is great in all conditions and the ride is quite smooth as well.

I put 25-8-12 & 25-10-11 mud lites on mine. The rear weighs the same as the stock ones and the fronts are 1pd heavier than stock, they are very good all around 6ply tires.I had very little power loss and a little more ground clearance..

We have 4000 miles on our Mud Runners and have been 100% satisfied. I am going to replace them in a couple of weeks with Maxxis Big Horn radials. I saw them on a Honda 400 and the guy told me they improved the ride quite a bit. The Maxxis Big Horns looked very aggressive.

The Goodyear Mudrunner is an excellent tire. Also available in a runflat version, they do extremely well on hard-pack and will do extremely well in mud. They have beat ITP 589 and MudBugs in mud tire shootout contests two or three years ago, although they tend to be a little higher priced. I believe your Rancher AT would turn 25s fine, with minimal power loss.

Hey Mpr you said you put mudlites on your quad. Is it a rancher and did you use the stock wheels?

Is the new Mudlite XTR going to be competitive with the MudRunner or is it still the better tire? I'm looking for a long-lasting tire that will perform exceptionally in the mud and still give a somewhat sporty ride on the trail. The Mudrunner seems to fit the bill perfectly. Is there any chance the new Mudlite can do any better?
