Default What to do if 4-wheeler takes in water?

Say I was driving through some water, up to the seat, and my atv died and took in some water. What would be the best thing to do immediately to minimize the damage, and what could I do to get the water out? Is this something I could do myself, or would I have to take it back to the dealership for repairs. I just bought my 1st 4-wheeler last week, and I'm a little cautious about what I can and can't put it through. What's the deepest level of water I should drive it through, and for how long? It's a Foreman.

Take the spark plug out and turn it over! pus alittle oil in the plug hole change the oil a couple times! When oil gets in the cylender it washes the oil film off the cylender wall that's why you should put a little in the cylender and let it sit for a wile!

Do what Martyr and Trevor said, and change the oil too.
