Thinking about buying Rancher..Some Questions
on my 2004 rancher 350 s, it has full floorboards and there is plenty of room under the shifter, even in the winter with my big winter boots on. I think eaither 04 or 03 was the first year they made the rancher s models with full floor boards.

Thinking about buying Rancher..Some Questions
I have an 04 Rancher ES and its a blast used all winter(deer season)and in the snow it does about 50mph on the road and I took it to the river bottoms after a good rain and turned it from red to completely brown including myself. It did awesome in the mud. It never even thought about getting stuck, just be sure to spray all the mud out of the oil cooler in the front or your fan kicks on, I let it get dry and had to really spray to get it all out. The only problem I did have with my rancher is the shift gear indicator flashing three times in code and not being able to shift it turned out to be the angle sensor in the front was bad , replaced it with two screws and still slinging mud!!!! mine is fulltime 4x4 and wouldnt have it any other way.

Why not look at a 05 Rancher 400 AT. "AT" means you can shift using the ES technology or just switch it into "Automatic Transmission": and you don't have to worry about shifting at all. The AT is not much more money. You don't have to wait until 06 models for selectable 2x2 or 4x4 drive. It is available NOW. I have had my rancher for about 2 months now and it is awsome! Let me know if you have any other questions about the 05 Rancher 400 AT, I would be glad to help if I can.

I also have the 04 Rancher AT and love it. It has the traxlok and you can switch between ES and full auto. I have only about 3 hours on it, but I have absolutely no complaints. I chose the rancher over the yamaha kodiak 400. I would still pick the rancher.
